EP Import Export

Pharmaceutical import, inventory, batch tracking, and reporting — finally in one system.

01

Context

EP Import Export brings pharmaceuticals into Ethiopia — a business where every shipment carries paperwork, expiry dates, and accountability. The work spans importing, warehousing, and distribution, and each stage produces records that the others depend on.

02

Challenge

Pharma is unforgiving about traceability. A batch has to be followable from the moment it clears import to the moment it leaves inventory, and reporting has to reflect reality rather than a best guess. Handling that across disconnected records means re-entering the same information and hoping nothing drifts — a risk no pharmaceutical importer can afford.

03

Build

We built EP an ERP shaped around their actual flow of goods. Import handling, inventory, batch tracking, and reporting live in one system, so a shipment is entered once and carries its identity through every stage. Batches stay traceable end to end, stock reflects what is physically on the shelf, and reports are generated from the same records the team works in daily.

04

Outcome

EP Import Export now runs its import and inventory operation on a single source of truth. The team works inside one system instead of reconciling several, batch histories are there when someone asks for them, and reporting comes from live operational data rather than after-the-fact assembly.
